During my last trip back to Penang before Covid-19 pandemic hit, we went to my favourite place again at Batu Ferringghi, Penang. Beach Cornee Cafe strategically located by the beach in the heart of this resort township.

Walking on the beach is so relaxing, let the sand massages your feet.👣

Make sure the oil is extremely hot, drop it into the wok. As soon as it expands, make sure to stretch it to prevent it from wrapping around itself.

Father's Day Lunch

We celebrated Father's Day in Melbourne yesterday. With the current Stage 4 Lockdown, all restaurants are still closed to dine in business, so the only choice is to cook at home.

Beautiful Japanese scallops.

Grill Banana Prawn.

Grill salmon fillet on a pan. The skin is to be face down in order to get it crispy.

Flip over once the salmon skin turns brownish.

Final presentation: Grill Seafood Platter with a sunny side up.

Still on the town of Air Itam in Penang, Seong Garden Cafe at Jalan Air Itam comes to life at night with the street converted into a night market and open air food court!

The street in front of a row of shops is transformed into a night market in the evening.
